The Tourist Card Bus is a digital travel pass, so a mobile device is required to activate it.
To activate the MASTER card, you need to scan the QR code provided by your accommodation and follow the steps shown to register and activate the card.
The accommodation will show you the QR code directly from their own device. Do not take screenshots, print, or share the QR code in any way.
The app used to activate and manage the card is called “La mia Liguria”.
1. Activating the Master Card
Scan the QR code provided by your accommodation and download the app “La mia Liguria”. This will allow you to activate your personal Master Card with its own QR code.
2. Sharing with family members
If you are travelling with family (up to 4 people), you can share your Master Card QR code or activation code via the app. This will generate Guest Cards (also called “slave cards”) for them.

4. Travelling without Guest Cards
If your family always travels with you, there is no need to activate Guest Cards. One active Master Card is enough for the whole group to travel together.
The Tourist Card Bus, once activated, is valid for 7 consecutive days.
Once expired, guests must contact their accommodation provider for a possible renewal in case of a stay longer than 7 days.
The Tourist Card Bus is valid until May 31, 2026.
With an active Tourist Card Bus, you can travel on all TPL public transport lines. The routes and timetables are available at this link.
Please note: the card can only be activated in accommodations located within municipalities that are part of the Ligurian Riviera.
